Q: How long will it take to replace my windshield?
A: Windshield replacements typically take around 60 minutes, but it may take longer depending on the type of vehicle.
Q: When will I be able to drive my vehicle?
A: We strongly recommend that you do not drive your vehicle for at least 1 hour after the job is complete. The adhesives we use to secure the windshield take time to properly set.
Q: How long until my windshield is fully set?
A: Part of your windshield's safety function is to offer essential support for your vehicle in the event of a rollover. It can take up to 8 hours until the adhesives used are strong enough to support a collision or rollover. During this period we recommend you do not drive on the freeway and avoid driving at high speeds.
Additionally, all driving should be limited for the first 24 hours after the replacement.
Q: Can I use my insurance to pay for my auto glass replacement?
A: Under Florida law, if you have comprehensive coverage, your insurance policy should include a zero deductible for windshield replacement and repair services. If you're unsure of what is included in your policy, call us and we can determine how much your insurance will cover.
